Dually is the first cattle dog that we ever owned. He has sure made a huge impact on our lives. From being a bed peeing puppy, to becoming the dog that would literally do anything I ask, he has taught us so much about dogs and this wonderful breed. Dually is not AKC registered but I got his PAL registration so I could compete in herding trials with him. He earned his started titles in sheep and cattle with very limited showing. He even managed to get an advanced leg on cattle. Dually is semi retired now, pushing 8 years old.

Raina is a pup that we kept back from our first litter between Rascal and Kate. I kept her without intentions of breeding her, and she has been spayed. I wanted her to train to be my next go to working dog so Dually could retire. She is doing a great job learning to fill his spot. Raina is an exceptional corral dog! Her and I alone can sort and doctor anything we need to. I can go out on the four wheeler with her to get stock out of the pasture and into the corral. She has some room for improvement there, but it will come with time and experience. Raina is my special little girl, as she is the first pup we kept back from any of our crosses. I may have spoiled her a bit and made her a momma's girl, but I am quite ok with that.
This is a training session, with Raina, on sheep after a long lay off during my pregnancy. She tried to cheat me a few times but took her corrections well.

Jinx is an Australian Kelpie. She is our first Kelpie and she has captured our hearts.Jinx came to us from our good friends at Dry Creek kennel south of St. Louis. She has a fun happy go lucky attitude about life, but she is all business when it comes to livestock. Jinx has an outstanding desire to please her handler which has made training her a breeze. She has a natural wide outrun as well as a natural ability to fetch stock to her handler.
I entered Jinx in her first herding trial in November of 2018. She brought home several first places and earned two herding titles!
Here is Jinx's HTAD sheep run at an AHBA trial in November 2018. She earned her level I ranch cattle title and her level II arena sheep title that weekend!
