Tilly is now retired from breeding and is living the easy life as a pet. She is my back up working dog to her daughter Rave.
Tilly came straight from Kuawarri Kennels. Her mother was imported from Europe and crossed on a nice son of the great Kuawarri Ginny. Tilly's mother was the first dog in Europe to earn her AKC Advanced herding title on cattle. Tilly prefers to go to the heads but will run up and grab a heel. Tilly is one of my favorite dogs to use when dog breaking cattle. She tends not to bite unless necessary. She is a silly little girl with a quirky personality. She takes a little longer to warm up to people she does not know. However, once she gets to know you she is a very affectionate dog and has a very pleasing attitude. Tilly has had two litters for us now. Her pups have shown to have her never ending drive!
In her free time, Tilly is always looking for work and spends her time in the yard watching livestock through the fence. She also LOVES to watch tv and play in the water.
Here is a video of Tilly working sheep, just a few months after we got her. She is 9 months old in the video.
