Kate has been spayed and retired and is enjoying a more laid back life with us on the farm.
Kate is our smaller cattle dog that is full of sass. She keeps everyone in line here at the house. Kate is a happy girl and a great momma. She loves to work and is not afraid to get down and dirty. Kate is stronger to the heels than the heads, but she will push on noses when needed. One of my favorite things about her is her ability to read stock. She is tough as nails with the cows but gentle as can be with the lambs. I have watched her gently push the lambs along with her nose. One of the things that we love about Kate is her off button. She can go out and work or play, and come into the house in the evenings and turn off the crazy. So far, she seems to pass that onto her puppies. Kate is a true example of a dog that can go out and work for you all day and come in and be your buddy at night.
Kate loves to spend her extra time kicking the boys butts at a game of fetch, playing in water of any kind, or wrestling with her daughter Raina.
